BARA is looking for a product developer with an interest in fitness and fashion!

Do you want to take BARA to the next level? We are now looking for a designer with an interest in fitness and fashion. You will have the opportunity to work with all of our product groups, which include sportswear, hiking clothes, loungewear, activewear for kids and gym accessories. Maybe you want to be involved in developing new product groups too? You are motivated by creating bestsellers and combining your knowledge with feedback from real customers. You are also inspired by creating innovative and sustainable solutions for both old and new products.
You are creative and positive and dare to share your ideas. You will be in charge of producing prototypes, being in direct contact with factories and creating entire collections. You will be in charge of creating a finished product, ready to be produced and released in our shop. You like to work seasonally and always meet deadlines. You are inspired by your surroundings or are actively seeking inspiration elsewhere. We expect you to show a real interest and insight into the market you work in. The position may involve some travelling to work more closely with our factories.
Qualifications:
- Good verbal and written communication skills in English
- Good computer skills (Illustrator / Photoshop / InDesign etc.)
- You have work experience as a designer and relevant education
- Previous experience with designing hiking clothes or sportswear is a bonus
- You have a good understanding of “what sells” in the clothing industry
- You are interested in gym fashion/sportswear and in discovering new trends
- You are good at shaping ideas into commercial products

- A problem-solver, detailed focused and independent
- Both structured and time-efficient when working
- Capable of running several projects at the same time
- Good at communicating
